North Bend Central wins final match of regular season

The North Bend Central Tigers closed out their regular season on Thursday with a 3-0 win at Madison.

North Bend Central won sets one and two 25-11, and took set three 25-13.

It was a dominant win for the Tigers. North Bend Central didn't have a letdown after beating Stanton earlier in the week.

The Tigers (23-5) battle Columbus Lakeview (22-8) in the C1-4 sub district at Fremont High Monday evening.

The two teams did not play in the regular season.

The Vikings defeated Schuyler 3-0 on Tuesday to end the regular season.

This is what North Bend Central has been building for this entire season. The time has come for the Tigers. It's time to step up and perform, and get the job done.

North Bend Central isn't likely to receive a wildcard to state should they falter before the state tournament so this is do or die for the Tigers.

Columbus Lakeview is a very good team as is Columbus Scotus, who North Bend Central could very well see in the sub district final on Tuesday.

Brooke Fredrickson, Allison Lux, Kristin Lux, Kaitlyn Bjorklund, and Noelle White all have to step up and have big matches for the Tigers.

North Bend Central has to play well as a team, and continue to fight no matter the situation.

The Tigers are no doubt going to face some adverse times in this sub district tournament, and the way North Bend Central responds to those times could very well determine if they win or lose.

The match is slated to start at 6:30 p.m.
