Logan View/Scribner-Snyder goes 1-1 at Omaha Brownell-Talbot Triangular

The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Volleyball Team is off to a 1-1 start as the Raiders beat Boys Town and lost to Omaha Brownell-Talbot 2-0 at the Brownell-Talbot Triangular to open up the season Thursday night.

The Raiders defeated the Cowboys 25-15 and 25-10.

LVSS lost 25-13 and 25-22 to Brownell-Talbot.

Good strong, solid performance against Boys Town, and a good second set against Brownell-Talbot in my estimation.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (1-1) hosts Pender (0-0) Tuesday night.

This is the season opener for the Pendragons.

There's a lot of hype surrounding the Pender program this year.

Much has been made of how much and who all returns for the Pendragons this year.

Pender brings back Caitlyn Heise, who returns after missing all of last year with a torn ACL.

The Raiders are young, and I think that showed a little bit on Thursday.

Still though LVSS is 1-1, and they have a strong, solid team once again.

It should be a heck of a match.

I could see the Raiders winning since they are at home, but the Pendragons have a lot to prove and show in this one so you know they will be ready.

It should and figures to be an exciting, thrilling, and outstanding match that comes down to the wire.

I could see it being 3-1 or perhaps even going five sets.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to play solid Volleyball and must stay within themselves.

Weather storms and battle the entire time.

The Raiders have to find a way to hang around and pull things out in the end if at at possible.

I could see LVSS winning this one 3-1, or perhaps winning or losing 3-1 or 3-2. I don't think it will be a sweep either way.
