Winnebago beats Walthill, loses to Ponca

The Winnebago Volleyball Team won 3-0 at home over Walthill last Thursday night before losing 3-0 at home to Ponca Tuesday night.

Winnebago downed the Blujays 25-9 in set one, and 25-15 in sets one and two.

Savannah Fierro had 9 ace serves.

Ponca topped Winnebago 25-9 in set one, 25-14 in set two, and 25-17 in set three.

I thought Winnebago played really well against Walthill, and was competitive against Ponca, especially the more the match wore on.

Winnebago (1-3) hosts Omaha Nation, Walthill, and Santee at the Winnebago Tournament on Saturday.

I think the Indians have a chance to win all 3 matches on Saturday.

I think Winnebago has to be encouraged by how they've played in their last two matches, and has to continue to get better.

The Indians have to come out and be aggressive and take the fight to all three opponents on Saturday.

Winnebago has to be feisty and scrappy, and must play their hearts out on Saturday.

The Indians have to realize the importance and magnitude of this tournament. These are 3 very winnable matches for Winnebago, and the Indians have to come out on fire.

Winnebago has to go hard in practice, in warm ups, and during the matches.

The Indians have to give it their all throughout the entire match.

Winnebago has to play their hardest, and give it their best shot.

The Indians have to keep fighting, clawing, and battling no matter what the situation is.

Winnebago has a lot of potential I feel, they just have to keep getting better and take advantage of wins when they can get them.

The schedule is pretty light for the Indians this year so I feel Winnebago has a chance to win quite a few matches before this season is all said and done.

The opportunity and potential is there for the Indians, Winnebago just has to go out there and make it happen.

The Indians have to be happy, enthused, positive, and upbeat on Saturday.

Winnebago has to enjoy this time with their teammates, and the opportunity and potential to win and get better as the day goes along.

The Indians have to seize the moment, and take everything they ever wanted.

It's all out there for Winnebago's taking the Indians just have to come through and find a way to win on Saturday.
