North Bend Central 1-3 in last four matches

The North Bend Central Volleyball Team is 1-3 in their last three matches, losing 3-1 at Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family last Thursday night, and 2-0 to David City Aquinas and Wayne at their home Triangular on Saturday, before winning 3-1 at Wisner-Pilger Tuesday night.

The Bulldogs took set one 25-11 and set two 25-21 before the Tigers won set three 28-26. Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family earned a 25-13 win in set four.

The Blue Devils topped North Bend Central 25-17 in the first and second sets.

The Monarchs defeated the Tigers 25-18 in set one and 25-14 in set two.

North Bend Central dominated sets one and two against the Gators, taking set one 25-14 and set two 25-15. Wisner-Pilger won set three 25-20 before the Tigers took set four and closed out the match with a 25-23 win.

I thought North Bend Central competed well against the Bulldogs, and perhaps found themselves a little against Wisner-Pilger.

The Tigers (3-6) host Oakland-Craig (3-8) Tuesday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.

The Knights won 3-0 at home over Yutan Thursday night.

This should be a good, compelling, and entertaining match.

I feel North Bend Central has a good chance to win it given the way they played against Wisner-Pilger.

If the Tigers can bring the same effort they got against the Gators they should be in good shape.

I look for North Bend Central to come out and play well Tuesday night.

The Tigers need to be sharp with West Point-Beemer coming up on the road Thursday.

It's a big week next week for North Bend Central, and it's a week that perhaps the Tigers can get their season on track if it hasn't already gotten there already.

North Bend Central needs to play well next week with a couple of challenging matches coming up the following week.

The Tigers have to execute in all facets of the game, which includes hitting, blocking, serving, passing, and serve receiving well.

North Bend Central has to force the Knights and other opponents next week into mistakes, and put forth that "intimidation" factor.

The Tigers have to get back to their roots like I think they just started to do this past week.

Perhaps North Bend Central has gotten things going a little and figured some things out.

I certainly feel there is reason to be optimistic if you are the Tigers right now.

This is a very proud and successful program, and growing pains were expected early, but now perhaps North Bend Central has gotten some things figured out.

I think the Tigers have to be excited about the opportunities that await them next week.

North Bend Central has to be pumped, anxious, fired up, and ready to show what they can do.

The Tigers have to start things off in a positive way with a win over Oakland-Craig. I feel a win over the Knights would set the tone for the rest of the week for North Bend Central.

First serve is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on the Bull.
