The BRLD Volleyball Team went 2-1 at the Tekamah-Herman Invite on Saturday, falling 2-0 to Omaha Roncalli, but beating the host Tigers and Fort Calhoun 2-0.
The Crimson Pride took sets one and two 25-14.
Tyra Bonneau had 7 blocks while Brandi Simonsen posted 14 digs. Kelsey Larsen notched 11 digs while Aubrey Berg totaled 8.
BRLD topped the Pioneers 25-22 in the first set, and 25-13 in the second set.

The Wolverines downed the Tigers 25-12 in set one, and 25-15 in set two.
Wortman managed 8 kills while Tietz had 12 digs and 8 set assists. Simonsen chipped in 12 digs while Larsen and Bacon notched 9 and 8, respectively.
Good strong showing overall for BRLD on Saturday. 2-1 isn't too bad at all.
The Wolverines (6-10) take on Emerson-Hubbard and Winnebago at the Winnebago Triangular Thursday night.
I think BRLD has a great chance to sweep both teams.
The Wolverines played superb Volleyball on Saturday, and I look for that to continue Thursday night.
I think BRLD will not only win, they will dominate.
I feel the Indians could perhaps pose some sort of threat to the Wolverines, but BRLD should be just fine.
The Wolverines got great production from everyone this weekend, and that has to continue for BRLD to be successful.
I look for the Wolverines to play two outstanding matches Thursday night.
I think it will be a great night of Volleyball for BRLD.
These are the Wolverines' only two matches of the week so BRLD has to make them count and have a good, strong showing.
The Wolverines have to use the matches as matches to get ready for Howells-Dodge and Wisner-Pilger next week.
BRLD has a tough stretch of matches after Thursday night prior to the East Husker Conference Tournament so the Wolverines have execute at a high level and play flawless Volleyball against the Pirates and Indians if at all possible.
BRLD has to be aggressive, and must serve, hit, pass, block, and serve receive the ball with efficiency and authority.
The Wolverines have to be inspired and must get fired up.
BRLD has put fear in Emerson-Hubbard and Winnebago.
The Pirates and Indians should be scared to play the Wolverines, or at least that's something BRLD should try to create and make happen.
The Wolverines can do that with solid play in both the front and back rows.
I thought BRLD's offense improved on Saturday, and the Wolverines need to continue to put good swings on the ball to keep that trend going.
