Tekamah-Herman 1-3 in last four matches
The Tekamah-Herman Tigers went 1-2 at the Boone Central Invite on Saturday before losing at home to West Point-Beemer Tuesday night.
The Tigers beat Central City 2-0, lost 2-1 to O'Neill, and fell 2-0 to Ord on Saturday, and lost 3-0 to the Cadets.
The Chanticleers downed Tekamah-Herman 25-9 in set one, and 25-15 in set two.
The Tigers won set one over the Eagles, 25-21, before O'Neill won the next two sets 25-22 and 25-21.
Tekamah-Herman defeated the Bison 25-21 in set one and 29-27 in set two.
The Cadets won set one 29-27, and took sets two and three 25-19 and 25-17.
The Tigers are sort of struggling right now, but I think Tekamah-Herman is definitely capable of turning things around and playing good volleyball.
The Tigers (4-7) host their own invite on Saturday.
It will be interesting to see how Tekamah-Herman does.
I think the Tigers have the potential to do well, especially considering they're playing at home, but Tekamah-Herman has to have a better showing than they did on Tuesday.
The Tigers aren't having a bad season as they've lost to all teams above .500 with the exception of O'Neill.
Tekamah-Herman just needs to become more consistent with their play, and figure out how to beat some of the good teams on their schedule.
I think this tournament is an excellent chance for the Tigers to get their season back on track.
Tekamah-Herman has to come ready to play, and has to be excited to play the game of volleyball.
I think the Tigers can win this invite, it just depends how well they play, how hard they're willing to work, and how bad they want it.
Tekamah-Herman has to want it more than their opponent, and that has to show in the Tigers' execution and hustle.
Tekamah-Herman needs to have a good showing to win all three matches on Saturday.
The Tigers have to play with pride, passion, toughness, grit, tenacity, and fire.
Tekamah-Herman has to want to be there, and has to be dedicated to playing well.
I think the Tigers can definitely be .500 after things are all said and done on Saturday, and that has to be the goal for Tekamah-Herman.
The Tigers must have a goal of winning all three matches on Saturday, and nothing less.
