BRLD 4-3 in last seven matches

The Bancroft-Rosalie-Lyons-Decatur Wolverines are 4-3 in their last seven matches, going 2-3 at the Wakefield Tournament last week, and sweeping Oakland-Craig and Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family at the Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family Triangular on Tuesday.

BRLD swept Homer 2-0 and lost 2-1 to Hartington Cedar Catholic last Thursday before downing Wakefield 2-1, and losing 2-1 and 2-0 to Laurel-Concord-Coleridge and Pierce, respectively, on Saturday.

The Wolverines downed the Knights and Bulldogs 2-0 on Tuesday.

Hartington Cedar Catholic defeated BRLD 25-13 in set one, and 25-16 in set three. The Wolverines took the middle set 25-23.

BRLD downed Homer 25-21 in the first set, and 25-17 in the second set.

The Bluejays beat the Wolverines 25-20 in the first set, and 25-22 in the second set.

BRLD won set one over the Bears 25-20 before Laurel-Concord-Coleridge took sets two and three 25-20 and 25-22.

The Wolverines downed Wakefield 25-12 in the first set, and 25-21 in the third set. The Trojans won set two 25-12.

BRLD beat the Bulldogs 25-17 in set one, and 25-22 in set two.

The Wolverines downed Oakland-Craig 25-20 in set one, and 25-18 in set two.

BRLD has come on as of late. It appears the loss to Laurel-Concord-Coleridge has really ignited a fire in this team.

The Wolverines (6-7) take part in the Tekamah-Herman Invite on Saturday.

BRLD is as hot as anyone right now, and it wouldn't surprise me to see the Wolverines win this tournament.

The host Tigers are struggling right now, and while they are very capable of getting things turned around, one would think BRLD has a good chance to beat them given the way the Wolverines are playing at the moment.

I must say I am surprised by the way BRLD dominated on Tuesday, but then again I'm not shocked.

This team has quite a bit of talent, and appears to be figuring things out.

Things are starting to come together for the Wolverines, and I look for BRLD to play well on Saturday.

The Wolverines are going to have to earn their points and set wins on Saturday, but I think BRLD will keep things rolling.

The Wolverines are on a hot streak right now, and I don't know if there's anyone in this invite that can slow them down.

BRLD has to fight through any adversity they face, and has to play smart, but aggressive volleyball.

The Wolverines have to want it more than their opponents, and have to continue to do the things they have during this current win streak.

BRLD has to be thrilled to play in this invite on Saturday.

The girls have to get fired up, and find the drive and motivation from within to have success.

It should be a good day of Volleyball for the Wolverines. I look for BRLD to have a lot of success on Saturday.
