Overview:
The Winnebago Indians look to be better than they were a season ago when they went 13-15.
Winnebago certainly had a fair amount of success last year, but lost to a few teams they shouldn't have.
The Indians have to work on becoming more consistent this year to have success.
Knowing nothing about the team, it's hard saying how they will be, but if Winnebago continues to improve as a team each week they should put themselves in a position to win quite a few matches.
It's important for the Indians to play hard and play up to their potential.
Winnebago doesn't want to leave possible wins on the court. The Indians have to take advantage of every opportunity given to them.
Winnebago has to execute at a high level in practice and during matches. It's important for the Indians to serve, serve receive, pass, hit, dig, and communicate well.
Winnebago has to play to their potential, and maximize their abilities. I'm sure the Indians would like to say they left everything out on the court once the season ends.
I look for Winnebago to give it their all match in and match out. I think fans will see a scrappy bunch fight, scratch, and claw for wins every time out.
The Indians have to fight and battle every point, set, and match. There can't be any quit in this team. Winnebago has to continue to give it their all no matter the situation.
It will be interesting to see how the Indians do this season. They could be worse, better, or the same as they were last year.
Season Outlook:
One would think the Winnebago Indians have a chance to be better than they were a year ago.
Winnebago has a number of challenging matches on the schedule, but also a number of matches they should have a good chance to win.
The Indians should have a fairly decent shot at beating teams like Mead, Walthill, Allen, Omaha Nation, Lyons-Decatur Northeast, Omaha Christian Academy, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, and Homer.
There are a lot of winnable matches on the schedule for Winnebago, and if the Indians play up to their potential, I don't see why they can't win 15-20 matches.
That definitely seems doable given how they did last year.
It's critical Winnebago plays well throughout the regular season as the Indians are in a loaded sub district.
Winnebago has to prepare themselves for the postseason with every match they play. Every match counts, and the Indians have to value every match this season.
It will be interesting to see how Winnebago does this season. The Indians have to be extremely motivated every time they take the floor.
Winnebago has to play with pride, resiliency, passion, and desire.
One thing the Indians can control is their effort. Winnebago has to play with tremendous effort and heart this season.
We will soon find out how good the Indians are. It will be interesting to see what kind of season Winnebago has.
